The talk

Hold on girl..it's just needed. Imma tell it like it's read!
I'm tired of her bullish!  This needs to be said!
Can I speak to you?
Yeah you...
I'm just not feeling yo attitude lately
Seems to me u stay angry quite frankly
I mean...you a tad bit condescending for my taste in steaks
Your texture is like rubber ...you see,cuz you're damn near fake!
Steppin on my freshly polish toenails!
Kick bricks, bear foot, with yo narrow tail!
What typa dill you got going on?
Cause it's starting to taste sour on my Mexican corn?
Tired of holdin my fudging tongue!
You betta understand my lingo or my mouth has just begun!
Now take this warning and put it in your back pocket
Keep ya chump change cause ya spirit is poor...you space rocket!
You seriously got it me twisted
Actin like you just came into existence
Now, Imma leave you with that pizza my mind!
Worry about getting your bread next time!

Introducing Shero! Saving the world one life at a time! Wd ct 680

“I sting like a lotus fly and float like a boat…I am a hero, I am Shero,” Shero sang out as she lay in her twin size bed punching the air.

“Time for me to get up and see how I can save the world today,” She said, squinting her eyes as she stared up at the ceiling as if focused on something. Shero jumped out of bed kicking as her pink and white onesie began to twist to one side while she practiced her right hook.

“Today is not your day bad people! You will get this ass whooping,” She professed. She held her tightly gripped fist in the air and then ran to bathroom to get dressed.

The line at the social security office was wrapped around the building. The parking lot was pack with rotating cars looking for a spot to park. A horn from a waiting car, that blocked traffic, blared without pause as everyone watched and complained to themselves.

“Sean, I told you I was gonna stand in line for another hour,” the girl in front of Shero screamed out as she swung her head in rhythm to her voice.

Shero bit her nails as she watched them yell back and forth while the man blocked traffic.

“Barbara, get yo ass in the car!”

“No Sean…go park!” She yelled out, as she rolled her neck and eyes and turned her body away from his direction.

“Maybe I should intervene. I mean… he is blocking traffic. Oh my goodness…is this my moment?”

The beads of sweat filled her forehead; her palms became more moist than usual. The yelling seemed to project throughout the parking lot and bounce off of Shero’s eardrum. Staring eyes lingered on the couple as she fanned her long nails at him while he continued to lay on the horn. Shero’s thoughts caused her to display a devilish smile. She then noticed the security guard watching them yell while he leaned against the wall unmoved.

I think he may be waiting on me. Let me handle my business.”

Look her, Sir!! Move along,” Shero said with a deepened voice as she stepped out of line. “Take your car and park it and then settle down,” She continued, as she pointed to an empty parking space.

“Hold on bitch! Who the hell you talking to?” A voice said that came from directly behind her. Suddenly, a pain on the side of her face made her see stars as she fell to the ground and scrapped her elbow. Shero’s practice from this morning didn’t seem to be working. She couldn’t fight the lady in the line off. The pain from the lady’s grip on her fat cheeks felt like salt and vinegar chips on a split lip.

Dear God, if you exist…help me. Give me the power to remove this evil…I beg of you!”

With all of her might, Shero swung at the same time that the woman was lifted off of her, causing her to over extend her shoulder. She scuffled backward with one arm dangling as she fixed her large eyes on the fighting lady. Finally, she stood and dusted off her turquoise polyester suit that her mother use to wear in 1978.

“Now let that be a lesson to the both of you!” She said as she pointed to the man while he giggled and the irate woman that the security guard was trying to calm. Her polyester suit was now a darker blue on both sides of her arm pits as the sweat raced down her face. Shero looked around at staring eyes and said, “My work here in done…” and walked towards her car while listening to the loud laughter of the waiting customers.

“My work here is done,” she repeated as she fumbled with her ripped front pocket once inside of her bright orange Pinto. “Sometimes we have to sacrifice in order to conquer,” she mumbled. Shero drove out of the parking lot waving as she nodded her head with stern eyes to the still laughing crowd.

“Another day done of saving lives…”
